The Morandi Collection is intended as a tribute to the great Bolognese master Giorgio Morandi. Exquisitely introspective, almost spiritual, the concept delves beneath the surface of the visible in search of something supreme.
Morandi favoured bottles, vases, boxes, bowls and oil lamps, which are never mere utensils. But, through his art, they carried on a personal battle against the ephemeral, with a ritual and sacred care
The campaign makes use of flash, continuous lighting in a very special set and plays with harsh lighting and sharp shadows to give depth and character to the subjects. Mirrors, soft colours and plays of perspective enhance the special characteristics of the collection.
