ADA Award 2021

The company is proud to announce that, at the ARCHIPRODUCTS DESIGN AWARDS 2021, two Paolo Castelli products, presented during the Supersalone, were awarded. They are the U Chair, winner in the Furniture category, and the Comet Floor lamp, awarded in the Lighting category. The ADAs, established in 2016 to celebrate international design excellence, reward design quality, aesthetics and the search for innovative, ethical and sustainable solutions each year.

The awards assigned by Archiproducts once again confirm the formal and material value of Paolo Castelli’s products, highlighting the attention to sustainable processes and the balance between a refined contemporary soul and Italian craftsmanship tradition; characteristics that belong to every project of the brand, special spokesman of the uniqueness of Made in Italy in the world.

The U Chair is a perfect blend of essentiality and craftsmanship savoir-faire. The frame, available in metal with a brushed copper finish or painted black, is complemented by leather upholstery in shades of dark brown or black. The refined and light appearance of the chair is made possible by the thin profiles of the elements and the upholstery, which fits the structure with simplicity and elegance.

The Comet Floor lamp is a light sculpture with an elegant and evocative design, composed of a wooden base and a ring-shaped shade in natural ivory fabric that diffuses an ambient, warm and soft light. Also offered in a table version, Comet stands out for its unique image, capable of being both essential and expressive.
