Grand Hotel Billia – Saint-Vincent

The Saint-Vincent Resort & Casino represents a building of great historical importance to the entire Aosta Valley region. In addition to the famous Casino, the building also includes the historic Grand Hotel Billia resort, with its iconic Belle Epoque-style facade. Founded in 1908, the hotel underwent a massive makeover in 2012, when it was also implemented with the Parc Hotel Billia. The intervention focused on the creation of a fine realization that would integrate into the area by employing the traditional materials of the place-wood and stone-also using artisanal techniques without sacrificing the sophisticated technological and aesthetic performance that the project itself demanded.

2013 saw the completion of the Grand Hotel Billia, a 5-star resort for which Paolo Castelli S.p.A. was entirely responsible for custom-made furniture, doors and paneling for the 75 rooms, common areas-including two restaurants, bar and lounge bar-and the wellness center.

A particular source of pride was the completion of the large 600-seat auditorium, custom-designed and featuring a sophisticated ceiling of curved wooden slabs that create an elegant undulating effect-a true masterpiece of technical and engineering mastery.
