Hotel Lutetia Paris

In the heart of Paris, in the Saint Germain area, stands the legendary Hotel Lutetia, which reopened its doors in 2018 after a major 4-year renovation by French architect Jean Michel Wilmotte. The building, built in 1910 for an exclusive clientele, underwent a significant transformation that transported it into the 21st century through a design that integrated contemporary elements while preserving the historicity and charm of the place.

A new outdoor area consisting of a large patio within the hotel’s central area was created in place of the pre-existing historic lounge. With a reduction in the number of rooms but an increase in floor space, the 12 suites and the 700-square-meter spa have expanded the hotel’s offerings, providing guests with larger and more dedicated spaces for an exclusive and comfortable stay experience.

Paolo Castelli S.p.A. made a significant contribution to the redevelopment of the historic hotel, producing construction, flooring and wall coverings for the new Spa and the prestigious Signature Suites. In addition, the company oversaw the engineering and prototyping of the furniture, providing custom FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) solutions, along with a decorative lighting system that enhances each room in the building, combining elegance and functionality for an uncompromising luxury experience.
