Mandarin Oriental Hotel

Four elegant 19th-century buildings located in the heart of the city center house the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Milan, whose restyling was designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors. The property houses 104 rooms, including 31 suites, a holistic spa with swimming pool and fitness center, cocktail bars and fine restaurants, and conference and reception halls.

For this prestigious project, Paolo Castelli created fixed and movable furniture, wall and ceiling coverings for the common areas and ground floor back offices. The company was also in charge of site coordination and construction management, integrating its work with that of the other companies involved in the project.
Within its ancient walls, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel encloses two elegant outdoor courtyards and a succession of areas characterized by colors, workmanship and furnishings that make each room unique.

The beating heart of the hotel is the Mandarin Bar, dominated by a large bar with the iconic polygonal U shape. The walls, entirely covered with a geometric patterned mosaic of black and white marble and wood paneling, frame a composition of sofas, armchairs, classic tables and stools, creating a cozy and elegant environment.

All furniture, made to design, reflects the intimate and refined touch that has always characterized the essence of the Group worldwide.
