Banca Patrimoni Sella

The project involved the creation of the new single headquarters of Banca Patrimoni Sella within the prestigious Palazzo Bricherasio in the heart of Turin, which was entirely renovated by the aMDL studio.

In this context, Paolo Castelli S.p.A. has developed an innovative system of desks and checkout counters, characterized by high aesthetic and functional performance. The workstations, intended for both operational staff and executive offices, were made of laminate, with natural solid oak edging and frame.

A reception desk, a guardhouse, two checkout boxes, and a large meeting table were also designed and built, all in natural oak, a material that harmonizes perfectly with the historic architecture of the building, characterized by narrow corridors and a succession of small rooms. The main challenge was to transform these rooms rich in history and charm into bright, welcoming functional workspaces. The dialogue between the original frescoes and the new volumes dedicated to the work represents a meeting point between history and modernity, creating a harmonious balance between past and present.

The challenges: to design and engineer within a short time frame a system of desks, checkout counters, and reception desks that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
