Mont Blanc Cable Car Station

PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A. has taken on yet another exciting challenge, the outfitting of the New Mont Blanc Ropeway Stations.
The overall project, involved the construction of three facilities, Pontal d’Entrèves, Pavillon and Punta Helbronner located correspondingly at an altitude of 1300 – 2400 – 3500 m, a unique work in terms of its size, complexity, technological avant-garde and its natural surroundings.

PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A.’s areas of intervention have involved very different spaces: custom-made furniture has been made and serial furnishings supplied both for the striking and welcoming settings of restaurants, bars, and exhibition halls, and for more functional areas such as kitchens and offices:
Sky way Cafe, Pontal d’Entrèves: a bar and a large space dedicated to welcoming and resting while waiting for the ascent to the roof of Europe.

The juxtaposition of wood with steel and ceramic slabs creates a textural mix evocative of the earth and nature-a modern reinterpretation of a space that harkens back to the traditional and local use of wood paneling.
Bellevue Restaurant, Pavillon Station: an elegant setting with 2 rooms of 100 and 50 seats. The first, Sala du Peuterey, defines a space dedicated to encounters with the flavors of tradition and beyond, in a refined atmosphere with furnishings and finishes in dark tones. Sala Dames Anglaises is an exclusive restaurant with a distinctive wall covering evoking the peaks of the Mont Blanc Group, characterized by oblique cuts and irregular trapezoidal block pattern. In the area, the Skyway Montebianco Store, the small space dedicated to shopping, has also been furnished by Paolo Castelli S.p.A.
