Armani Caffè, Bologna

Armani Group has opened in Bologna the second Emporio Armani Caffè e Ristorante, located inside the historic Galleria Cavour, a city reference point for international luxury shopping.
The concept, conceived personally by Giorgio Armani in collaboration with his team of architects, describes a contemporary and international taste.

The space is spread over a total area of 300 square meters and includes a coffee area, a restaurant area of about 100 square meters for a capacity of 42 guests and a large dehors of about 60 square meters with 25 seats.
Paolo Castelli S.p.A. has realized the renovation and supply of furnishings that embellish the environment, in which the light and dark wood species dominate a particular shade of blue, more intense and shiny for the suspension lamps of the Restaurant area. The red touch of the lamps adds a chromatic accent.
Two portals in bronzed metal mark the passages from the Café to the terrace and from the terrace to the Restaurant, and open, creating a unique space.

The walls of the bar area, which occupies about 30 square meters, are finished in pearly marmorino. The canneté lacquered counter combines the champagne color with the blue of the top, and has a large mirror on the bottom embellished with a woven metal net with natural fabric. The light oak flooring laid in a herringbone pattern makes the various rooms homogeneous and serves as a background for the furnishings: tables and ‘director’ chairs in dark wood and light blue fabric and golden leather sofas. The panels on the walls recall the mesh and mirror pattern of the Caffè area. The exposed wine cellar shows a selection of the cellar.
