Symbol of excellence in Italian cuisine, the Giannino restaurant – already renowned in the historic Milanese headquarters – opens in the heart of London, inaugurating Giannino Mayfair.
Interiors of the new restaurant are combined with the selection of delicacies included in the menu: the project by the Spagnulo & Partners studio in Milan has a refined, elegant and contemporary style, in which London spirit meets typical Italian cuisine, with an international taste.
Paolo Castelli as general contractor has carried out the electrical and mechanical systems, the supply and installation of false ceilings, floors, wall coverings and technical kitchen equipment, windows. It also took care of the construction and installation of all fixed and mobile furnishings, both from the Paolo Castelli collection and from the design, including the uphostered benches and decorative lighting with a strong visual impact.
On the ground floor, in the entrance area, the parquet warms the atmosphere, like the custom-laid carpet. The modern and elegant environment is dominated by the warm tones of the wood: main focuses are the boiserie, made of walnut, decorated with brushed brass profiles, and the counter also made of walnut wood, which matches the brass ceiling lamps, variation of the Allure lamp by Paolo Castelli. Also from the same collection are the highly decorative Anodine floor lamps.
On the walls, wallpapers embellish the atmosphere and are enhanced by the light of the My Lamp Wall by Paolo Castelli wall lamps.
The basement is characterized by a stoneware floor and wall cladding. The services dedicated to customers have been created with precious marble cladding on both the floor and the wall.
In the staircase area, the Bolognese company also built and installed the new wooden parapet with brass handrails, including the floor covering.
The final result celebrates the inclusive and modern spirit of the project, in line with the Italian culinary tradition and with the elegance of London tradition, in the heart of the most fashionable district of the British capital.
