Expo 2015, Feeding the Planet – Energy for Life, is the event on which the world’s spotlights have been shining, to which PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A. has made its contribution by supplying custom-made furniture for the Iran Pavilion, also taking care of the setting up of the Montenegro Pavilion and the Thailand Pavilion.
The Iran Pavilion was awarded second place among the small pavilions (up to 2,000 square metres) in the best interior design category.
The Montenegro Pavilion: In a 250-square-metre exhibition space in the Bio-Mediterranean cluster, the Montenegro Pavilion promotes through a highly scenographic set-up the image of a growing state by focusing on the themes of agriculture and tourism, presenting typical food and drink as well as videos and multimedia content that show the beauty of the Balkans.
The Thailand Pavilion: a festive pavilion where young Thais greet the smiling and jubilant visitor at the entrance. Rice cultivation is the prime mover of Thai agriculture (hence the huge hat, reminiscent of the traditional ngob used by rice farmers): thanks to the personal commitment of the King of Thailand, the agricultural tradition is perpetuated from generation to generation.
Expo 2015 was not only a project of worldwide resonance but a symbol of rebirth for our country, to which PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A. made its contribution by collaborating in synergy with other companies to offer a top-notch result to a project of such magnitude.
