THE PALACE OF EXPOSURE: Expo 2015, Feeding the planet – Energy for life, is the event on which all the world will be focused. Italian pavilion will be a timeless monument, like the Eiffel Tower. The exposition area is composed by Palazzo Italia and Cardo buildings. For this project PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A. has realized the entire internal fit out of Italian Pavilion and has supplied and installed multimedia and interactive devices.

FROM THE ROMANS: The exposition area is inspired to the cross plane, typical of the roman camp. It was a distinctive perpendicular layout and the two street crossings were known as the Cardo and the Decumano. The architectural concept is created by Studio Nemesis, based on the idea of an “urban forest”. An central square, the heart of the complex, which connect the four volumes of Palazzo Italia.

CONTENT: Palazzo Italia host on four levels a visual evocative itinerary that  show our country and its territories. The artistic concept is by Studio Gio Forma, and its fit out was entrusted to PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A. in partnership with Nagest. Thanks to the support and advanced technology of led monitors, touch screens, high-definition projectors, lights and mirror the exposition will be an highly interactive experience.

Moreover PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A. has realized a modular stage for concerts, and the supply of seats for the auditorium and conference room, reception and use of counters for the meeting room, wall covering and realization of sound-absorbing ceilings.

PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A. also has been involved in the construction of civil works and exhibition halls of Cardo offices, whose concept is inspired on a typical  Italian village, characterized by small squares, terraces and arcades. The buildings  host conference rooms and temporary exhibits that  show the variety and differences of Italian regions .

Expo 2015 is not only a showcase world event but a rebirth symbol for our country, and PAOLO CASTELLI S.p.A. had brought its contribution working along with other companies to offer a result of maximum value to an extraordinary project.
