Camplus Bononia, Bologna

Scope of works: Supply of serial and custom-made furnishings, hall areas, lounges, restaurants, offices and meeting rooms, auditorium, outdoor area.
In the north-eastern area of Bologna, adjacent to the university area, is the Camplus Bononia residential complex, dedicated to the hospitality of Bologna University students. Inserted in a network of 10 Colleges of Merit spread over as many cities, the Bologna office is located in an existing building that has been expanded to guarantee reception and training activities aimed at the student target.

With this idea, a project was developed in which private spaces are integrated with semi-private spaces also dedicated to relax and socialization, in an avant-garde structure in terms of energy saving and sustainability. Paolo Castelli S.p.A. took part to the project by completing the supply of custom and serial furnishings for the socialization areas on the ground floor, as well as offices and meeting rooms located on the first floor.
The restaurant area, with its nearly 200 seats, is declined in a colorful and playful style but at the same time functional, also equipped with an outdoor area. The colored seats remind the alternation of colors in the external windows of the building, creating a dialogue between interior spaces and architectural building.
In the offices glass walls dominate, made of glass and aluminum, combined with important meeting tables and wood-paneled boiserie, all characterized by a chromatic choice that focuses on clear and natural nuances. Among the meeting tables, the Executive area stands out, made of wood and white Corian.
Niche wardrobes fit the walls in the study rooms and offices, in a perfect integration of the furnishing element with the space.
