Ottomana novelty reveals its character in two unprecedented finishes

Paolo Castelli is participating again this year at Maison&Objet Paris 2023, the important fair dedicated to design staged in Paris from September 7 to 11. Situated in the heart of the French capital, the brand’s showroom renews its layout by hosting the novelties of the “Alla Sera” collection presented this year during the Salone del Mobile: high-tech furniture and lighting solutions that feature an artisanal soul.

Ottomana, praise for simplicity

A polyhedral object balanced between aesthetics and functionality.  On the occasion of Maison Objet Paris 2023, Paolo Castelli reinterprets Ottomana, novelty 2023 part of the “Alla Sera” collection, presenting it in two new versions: completely made of walnut-stained ash, and in walnut-stained ash combined with a ceramic seat.

Ottomana’s compact design is soft to the eye thanks to the minimal, enveloping shape of the seat, making it iconic furniture. Available in indoor as well as outdoor versions, Ottomana proves to be an ideal solution for furnishing rooms even individually.

The “Alla Sera” Collection in the Shadow of the Eiffel Tower

In Paolo Castelli’s Paris showroom, the “Alla Sera” collection offers a variety of elegant furniture and lighting.

Among the main pieces are the Ottomana chair with a new finish in walnut-stained ash wood and the Ama sofa, a novelty of the year presented at the Milan Furniture Fair. This welcoming design is also reflected in the Ama Bergere, which invites relaxation.

Next to the sofa and the bergere, there is the Kenya coffee table system, which combines wood and quartzite, illuminated by the pendant lamp Manta. Other elements include the Fanus floor lamp, the Origami wall lamp, and the Kenya console.

The Kenya table is a focal point, surrounded by the new Enso chairs that re-imagine classic furniture with geometric shapes and bold color combinations. The dining area also features the Abstract cabinet in a high version, characterized by doors covered with precious hand-decorated brass sheets.

In the heart of the showroom, the brand’s representative furnishings come together with three important novelties from the “Alla Sera” collection. The Echo chair combines a minimalist structure in curved plywood with generously padded elements. Babou is a lounge chair with an elegant structural design and a cushion made of eco-friendly polyurethane. Finally, the “Dione Bistrot” table adds a touch of elegance to various interior styles.
