A fashion designer in the 1980s, he has designed for the most important Italian fashion houses. A collector of fashion-inspired art, he has created important exhibitions on the subject (Brahaus, Cinderella’s Revenge, to name but a few). In the 1990s, he published an editorial series for Electa-Mondadori dedicated to Made in Italy Fashion. He created an important celebratory exhibition dedicated to Federico Fellini and Fellini’s aesthetics, in collaboration with Ida Panicelli and Massimo Vignelli.

For the Pitti Immagine Uomo event, Mazza created another book followed by an exhibition-event: a never-before-seen retrospective on the controversial and mysterious appeal of the Latin Lover (catalogue Charta). In the early 2000s, he created an important and internationally highly regarded lifestyle and furnishing brand, which was later sold to an investment fund and listed on the stock exchange.

Mazza stylist, author of books, global designer and lately promoter and trend setter of locations. Together with a small group of friends Mazza has in fact rediscovered, in the manner of Goethe in the 19th century, a location, Noto, now proposed to the world as a new little paradise on earth.

In 2018, he inaugurated his collaboration with Paolo Castelli S.p.A. by signing the Capsule by Samuele Mazza collection, a new and engaging interior mood inspired by Africa, nature and its pure authenticity.
