The logical is combined with the irrational, forms come together in a play of opposites between minimalism and figurative exuberance. Inspired by the art of the surrealist painter Salvador Dalì, the Babou lounge chair is characterised by the design of its frame, which is completely upholstered in ecological cuoietto leather lace. An elegant graphic sign outlines the backrest supporting the cushioning, made of organic polyurethane. Created for outdoor spaces, enriched with an enveloping outdoor leather upholstery, Babou is also available in an indoor version thanks to the wide range of coverings and colours available. The furniture’s innate versatility is revealed in the backless version, a pouf that thanks to a simple coupling system can join the Babou lounge chair, creating a new composition, a modular system that meets all aesthetic and space requirements.
